“Strategic spent three months completing a challenging ecosystem restoration project for the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations. Both the administrative project management and operational project implementation exceeded our expectations. Clear and timely communications from project leads along with a ground crew that showed a high level of interest in the work they were doing greatly contributed to the success of the Johnstone Creek ecosystem restoration project.”

Johnstone Creek Ecosystem Restoration

Spring 2013

Working with the ministry to improve habitat quality, resiliency and forage availability for ungulates and other native species by improving the degraded habitats of this Park and its adjacent forest and open range lands. The ecosystem was restored by creating natural variability on the landscape through opening the stand structure, removal of invasive plant species and the reintroduction of fire.
