In 2022, our longtime client the Ehattesaht First Nation joined us as a majority owner. The resources from the land and sea sustained their people, as Chief Simon John states: “Our legal and political system is connected to ownership and stewardship of our land and our waters.” Understanding the interconnectivity of the land, the water, and the people is an important tenet of Indigenous culture.
